we'll never dealt with these "s" best down bars before how the hell do they go in and still be close to the pillar. I've always seen or had it go from the halo then a slight bend at the dash and straight to the floor. And pics, thought, help!? Am I close on how it's suppose to be, or what do I need to do here. Instructions weren't a bit help either.
yeah that's what I was saying but the guys a Rhodes race car swears up and down it fits tight against the pillars
Flip it over...Put the bottom to the halo. Top to the floor...See how that looks...Other wise, nope...
Well... If they are supposed to tuck up close to the A pillars and wont, at all. Time to get the right parts fabbed up. Have you tried to fit em up with the instrument panel out??? May be how they fit...Then you will have to cut up the panel to get it around the bars.
I've thought about running them like that, but it wouldn't work that way with the door bars. I have extra metal my self but not a bender and I'm not moving the car to have something tweak and screw everything up ,if anything I'll just run just the door bars and have an 8 point cage then when I get the 347 in I'll just do the halo and down bars then.
