MMI have a 70 Maverick and I want to connect the sub frames. Will one from a Mustang work like from a 68-70 Mustang? If not does anyone know where to order some? Thanks for any help.
from a fellow 70 owner up in Northeast Pennsylvania You can search the forum for "subframe Connectors" and you will find many threads dealing with this subject. I think someone was selling them at one time and many have made their own.
I got mine from Summit. I had to ask for them. They were not listed in their catalog. There's usually some for sale on here if you post in the parts wanted section.
I know a guy that used factory Ford subframe connectors from the Lincoln Versailles that he robbed the rear axle from. He said they fit the bottom of the car almost perfectly. I was supposed to go see them this past weekend but still too much snow for him to bring the car out of hiding...
