Hey I'm going to the pick/pull this week to look for a 302 to swap. Obviously it will probably be efi but I want to convert back to carb. Is this a decent selection of parts for a street car? http://m.summitracing.com/parts/CMB-03-0202 Or is there better?

I went to the junk yard and found a few possibilites however I'm unsure of a few things... I found a v8 in a crown vic 1997 however when I ran the vin it read a 4.9 v8 modular engine. Is there a differnce between that and the "5.0" 302?
Yes, those are two completely different engine. Nothing interchanges between them. The new 5.0 in the Mustangs is also a Mod motor. The Vics last had a 302 in them in 1991. Everything afterwards had a 4.6 mod motor
