I have a sun visor that is in good shape as far as the material and color goes but it has a broken plastic rod (the end that clips to the center holder). I was wondering if that rod comes out? It is broken at the end of the vinyl so I will have to screw something on it to have leverage to pull it out. I see Auto Krafters sells what I think is this part. Just wondering if anyone has bought one and how hard is it to pull out the rod without damaging the sun visor.

Most of the time you can simply pull it out by hand .... Some times you have to pull it out with a pair of vice grips but theres no screws or anything holding it in ... If you get a pair of needle nose vice grips you may be able to stick the tip of the pliers inside the meterial enough to grab a bite of the rod ... Hope this helps

Mine is tight and I can't get anything on it, I'll get it though!! I was wondering if anyone has used the ones Auto Krafters sells to see if they fit right? They have a tendency of selling things that are mustang parts and are a little different than a Maverick. Just enough so it won't fit.

I got the pin out and now I'm gonna see if the Auto Krafters part works.
