Hey guys it's been a long time since I last posted here something, but I'm back with a question: I may got my hands on a t56 gearbox. The question is will it fit the 302 engine? And if not, what engine will it fit on? Thanks alot. Assaf

But it's possiable to connect the two? Or would you suggest getting the t4 for the 302?

Probably be easier going w/ WC-T5. From what I understand the T56 is larger than the T5 , may need some mods to the trans tunnel. Maybe someone here may have done this upgrade and will chime in. Gud luck with it!

T56 can bolt up to a sbf with an aftermarket bellhousing no problem. Your going to run into problems in the tranny tunnel.
