i want to go with a cable on my t5 swap. I was hoping some members may be able to provide some info or pictures on how they made the pedal pull the cable and their cable set ups. Thanks in advance!

Mustang Steve makes a good weld on kit to convert your mechanical peddle form rod to cable. If you go this route be sure to take plenty measurements then do it again, if you dont you may have to cut and reweld. I used this kit in my 73 Comet and ran it for ~5 years and it worked great.
Let us know how things turn out.

Do you know what kit it is? I see its listing for different year mustangs, are they the same kits across the board or do I need to pick a specific one? I just got the new motor and trans sitting in the car last night, still gotta make something for the trans cross member. We got distracted by the wiring I didn't like and we started ripping into that lol.

Why do you want a cable? They break, burn, stretch and cost more money to convert over. I used the factory linkage when I did my t5 swap. All you need is this spacer http://www.parts123.com/parts123/yb...~S4MY0OVVNS10870122650F~Z5Z5Z5~Z5Z5Z50001018o

Because I've owned many fox body's, all with cables. I want to go cable because it's what I'm comfortable and familiar with it. Oh and btw, I keep hearing about guys burning up cables? All you gotta do is slip a Heat guard for a spark plug wire over it where it touches the headers. A fox with a turbo on it won't burn through those so some n/a long tubes will never in this life get through one. What kind of clutches have you guys ran on these hydraulic set ups? Just curious.
