i need some help guys. i have someone thats willing to trade me a modded 310hp 302 w/ centerforce dual friction clutch and a t5 5spd w/ ripper shifter for my stock 86 302 and c4 trans w/ a b&m shifter. my question is i have my auto pedals from my mav and a manual set from a fox body. can i make the mav a manual using the foxbody pedals? i have successfully done it in a mustang ll but i was told by a friend he tried it and it wont work. also if u have any pics and/ or templates to make the conversion easier please email them to me at shelbymaverick@yahoo.com thanks for your help in advance.

I have a little budget right now. I was just gonna try and make the fox body pedals work cause I cant really pass up the deal but I dont know how much a hydaulic conversion would cost either. I'm trying to get back to work since I just lost my job so I can't spend money I don't have yet but if its not too much for the conversion I'll just go down to my sisters and work for her to afford to buy it. I need to be able to tell the guy yes on the deal( my car is 300 miles away from me), go out and convert the car over to a 5spd and drive it back 300 miles all in a week or less of me going out there. The guy is willing to drop the motor and trans in but the pedal conversion is up to me.

thanks I just got a job. I start monday. I'm gonna go take a look at my stang pedals to see if I can relocate the clutch quadrant to the left side. Thanks for the help I guess I just need my mav and stang pedals in the same location to get the pedals mocked up to work. :Handshake:2thumbs:
