    hello everybody,

there is a way to change a T5 tranny with electronical signal to cable ???because right now does not work the speedo, and i dont like it :(, i see the speedometer and is dead :(, simply dont like it.

Or perhaps somebody could clear the doubt to me about the automatic trasmission, some times that I have had opportunity to drive a car with automatic trasmission, i feel that when you press the accelerator exist a delay so that the car accelerates, this sensation I do not like much, nevertheless, i suppose that exist automatic trasmissions that are better or with better performace, maybe is better option to me, change t5 to one automatic good, could recommend some???

the idea is to have a comfortable car and to go eliminated those small details that do not please to me, I do not know much mechanic so I only ask to inform before finding somebody that can carry out the work, and that later I am pleased with the change.

I appreciate so much your help, your comments, etc, thanks in advance.
    greetings

Just remove the speed sensor from the tail shaft and put your speedometer cable in it's place, direct swap.

I don't think that you would be happy with the automatic anyway. They are all compromises in my opinion. Either you get good hard shifts mushy shifts. At least with a manual transmission it is up to you how you shift it. Stick with the T5 and try the suggestions that these guys have. I have a T5 in my garage and it has a spot for a speedometer cable.

    Tony,
The C4 can have real nice manners at light throttle and shift like a monster at wide open throttle. Thats the way I build my street C4s and have been for over 30 years.
