Being an "older" guy, I have always liked the traditional looking tires and rims - never cared for the "big chrome wheel with a little rubber" look. You have changed my mind! That is one sharp Mav!

LOOKS GREAT - YOU GET THREE NANER GUYS! [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

Very very nice! I am highly impressed! Nice choice of wheels and a great looking car overall.

Those are "Hopster" wheels I do believe...I had considered them for my `71 Resto mod car at one point. They look really great on the car! Better that I thought they would!(y) (y) (y)

Actually, they are 17's. The front is 17 X 8 with 245/45-17 and the rear is 17 X 9.5 with 275/40-17. Backspacing is 4" front and 4.25 rear. It is a tight squeez. You really could not fit anymore under it without mini-tubbing it.

The rear end is still a little high for me. I plan to drop it another 1-2 inches.

hum i wish you had did that a year ago. i was wondering if a x9 would work on the car? i went with an 18x8 at the time and then figured out i could go a x9... oh wells. :( when my sponsorship runs out i'm gonna try the 285 bfg drag radial. to fill up the space.

but looks good! i think i can now count at least 5 to 6 restomod mavericks (y)

Beautiful! How long did it take you to shave the fenders? Also, what scoop is that?
