Tail light swap possibility

I was at work fixing some elcetrical problems on this 83 econoline. The tail lights stood as a close match a maverick. These are ressessed in. I would try it but I like the stock lights just fine. maybe somebody else will run with the ball.

yeah its different , ive look at them , my dad has a 78 1 ton same kind of tail lights , they kinda remind me of 67-69 comaro , kinda sorta but i think it would look alright

 

For some reason they remind me of the '59 Chevrolets. There was also a big mopar with similar shaped taillights - just with sharper edges.

 

My thoughts exactly. I think it would be pretty cool, diffrent for sure.

It is. She is a member here, but only posted a few times. She only lives right down the road from me... wonder where that meeting was at. Looks like a ton of cars there.

 

I got some 70 something LTD tail lights that could work with some custom bezels

i think this is a road runner gtx tail light i think it would actully look good...w/ the lenses

 

Has anyone ever measured the new Mustang Taillights to see if they woudl fit in that space, ?

 

i think they are to tall , end up in the trunk and bumper

 

Or maybe the early bronco (66-77) taillights, look similar.
