This is a continuation of the last post, but with a new problem.

Yesterday I started with my tail and brake lights not working. With all of your guys' support I fixed those this afternoon. Now, I dont know much about the electric part of anything, but I managed to get it done.
Somewhere along the lines, everything having to do with the turn signals has gone bad... including front signals, dash signal lights, rear, and both sides in the back.
They were working properly at one point, but then nothing around the whole car. I had a buddy helping me with everything and he was under the steering wheel around the time this happened so I was thinking maybe he did something. I checked all and changed some fuses. This has me totally puzzled.

another question I have is about the rear lights again. There is (was) a small white cheap plastic looking box that held a computer chip looking thing in it. I believe it had something to do with the brake lights. had one wire going in and 2 coming out... seemed to be one ground coming out and one wire leading to passenger side of car for the other brake light. there seemd to me to be no power coming out of it, so I bypassed it and now the brake lights on both sides work. Should bypassing this thing cause any sort of problem?

thanks for all of your help so far!!!!

Double check to make sure your turn signal switch harness is plugged in well.

Power for the turn signals first goes through the ignition switch, then to the flasher, then to the turn signal switch. Anything along this line could have been accidentially disconnected.

Box was located on the driver side all the way in the back. It doesnt seem to have been too important, but since I really dont know, I dont want something major electrically go wrong.

I dont think my buddy unplugged anything... at least I would hope not, but I will check all that. It was dark last night and I couldnt finish.

To make things a bit more confusing, only the driver side worked for a few seconds... they first blinked, then they stayed lit the whole time and finally they just went out all together again. I am totally cunfused about that one!:hmmm:

And not to sound stupid or anything (too late, I know), but how do I get to the turn signal harness, flashers, and any other switch I need to get to?
