, was playing with the mav. mon....cleaned, primed and painted the inside of the trunk. then sprayed the bottom of it with bedliner...painted my tailpanel med. charcoal and installed my black trim bobcat tail lights...then put the early style bumper brackets on to replace the stock '73 ones (thanks earl)...replaced the lower tips on the quarter extitions (thanks m.a.v.)...replaced the tank spout and new gasket...frank...

I like it Frank. I was going to do the same treatment to mine until I decided on the Shelby lights. Your going in the right direction...good job.
Looks great!! I tried to find those taillamps when I did my car, the Shelby taillamps were easier to find.
Jim, the 65 T-Bird lights are the exact lights I have in my car. That's the same tail lights Shelby used in the 68-70 Shelby.
The panel I used is a reproduction panel for the 68 Shelby. You can buy it from Tony Branda Performance. www.cobranda.com I had to do a lot of trimming but it winded up molding in very nicely.
