Would someone please post the pic of the tailpipes exiting behind the rear wheels on the outside of the leafsprings?...
the only person I know with that set-up is Wilbur Green.... I will take a couple pics of it at the Round-up (if he brings it).
Here is a way to run the exhaust. P.S. YES...it is going under the rear axle. I call it hillbilly exhaust!
LOL ... how the heck do you jack up the car with an exhaust system like that? Plus ... it's must clank and clunk over every bump!
Oh...it was a real winner of an exhaust system. 2 1/2" exhaust, 4" chrome tip CANNONS, and Flowmasters in the middle. I will probably bring the exhaust to the Roundup to sell. I have cut it off just behind the mufflers, so it is complete from the manifolds back, and it is all NEW.
nope nothing hits never rubs! i might add that it is a 3 inch pipe with a 3-1/2 inch tip! no worry i use to have mine that way too!
I wanna put 2-1/2" on there...I didn't want to do it like that last year, but now I think I do. Right now, they turn-down below the rear valance. Can't get a bigger pipe run like that on the driver side....
get a couple of mandrel bent pipes http://store.summitracing.com/egnsearch.asp?Ntt=mandrel+pipes&searchinresults=false&Ntk=KeywordSearch&DDS=1&N=115&x=16&y=9 and then bring them to your muffer guy ... most guys say they won't bent it cuz they can't bend it that steep without kinking the pipe... but if you get these they should be able to peice something together.
