I want to put in an AutoMeter Electric Temp Gauge. It comes with a sender. Do I put that sender in the same location? Or can I use the factory wire & sender & connect it to the AutoMeter gauge? One other thing is can I use the same hot wire on more than one gauge?

Most, if not all the time, you will need to use the sender that comes with the gauge. I would run a new wire from the new sender to the new gauge. Yes, you can use one hot wire to power more than one gauge.
