Took "THE MAV" out to Milan Dragway for a little test & tune yesterday. Ran a best of 12.34 @ 109.9. I was very pleased & I drove it home. Lee "THE MAV" Richart
Yeah,a lot of people that have`nt been around fast cars don`t realize how hard that it is to get a car to go that fast on the street.Fantastic,I`m sure you will have a great time cruising around in your ride.I remember back in the 70s,the only way you went that fast was w/ tunnel rams & 5.14 gears which made your car undriveable for an every day user. Now w/ all the new suspension components & hot rod goodies we have it`s much easier.
Hi Frank, Yeah, Weds. was the only nice day here this week and it only got to about 60 then. It is only 52 here now. My Gearvendors is working great. Lee "THE MAV" Richart
Very nice times! What was your 60'? I see in your profile that you have PRO-Injection on the motor, who is that working out? Just one last question, is your car close to 3200lbs with you in it?, and would love to see some pictures of the car.
I ran a 1.7 sec 60 ft. Not that great, but I only race the car about once a year. I use MT drag radials for the track, but everything else is the same as I drive it on the street, including thru the mufflers and complete exhaust. I haven't weighed the car, but 3,200 with me in it sounds just about right. I will try to post some pictures soon. Lee "THE MAV" Richart
Mid 12's for a car that's vry streetable is wishful thinkin for a lot of people - me included. Nice going Lee! Did u have the Gearvendor in the car at the Gathering?
Thanks for the reply. I would say that is a pretty stout street car. Do you run the injection setup you show in your gallery? Thanks for sharing.
very nice et and mph for a street car, and 1.7 isn't a bad 60ft for 12's, especially with a street converter. Duane
