I finally got around to buffing out the paint on my car...
It hasnt been waxed in who knows how long... atleast 10 years, proboally longer.
I used a low speed electric buffer and some cleaner wax. I didnt spend but about 30 to 45 mins on this side of the car, and ended up quiting before i wanted to... but you can tell a major difference in it.
Maybe now I'll put the paint job off until later... since it actually shines a little bit.
May do a bit more on it later but not sure yet
    Anyways... heres before/after pic

To be honest with you, keep looking into a paint job (based on your budget of course) because if you look at my pics, It was right after I wet sanded and buffed my car and since I didn't have much of a clear coat on the car when I bought it, it is fading dramatically. Just my :2cents:

Im still looking into a paintjob... it's gonna get it anyways, as i hate the red.
The car isnt a base/clear paint anyways so I dont have to worry about not having much clear on it as it didnt come with any.
I was just bored and figured id give it a try... it started to shine
The trunk I hit up w/ a real high speed buffer last year and it shined way better than this, so I may go after it again and see what I can do.
But sure beats having a faded car... even if it may not last forever, it puts money in my pocket to get the car more driveable before i paint it
