it saddens me to say that the 73 ford maverick I've been working on will now go to the scrap pile. Taking every part off it taking the cage out and junking her. But I am glad to say that I have found a 1970 mav for a really good price 2 blocks from me that is in very good condition that will be getting the full build that the 73 was getting. When I herd what all the 73 needed it was going to be more cost effective and a time wise a better choice to get a new one. Plus I found out the car was bent.

looked good when I pulled it in off the trailer a year ago never really drove it ripped all apart custom crossmember and subframes cage halfway in and did all the suspension set it on the ground and its twisted hard the car was level on the stands and level to the floor so I don't know what happened haha. it's all good now, The green machine will put smiles on my face haha and just put all the work from the white one into this one

Never laid beads down tacked in and that's it. Had the jack stands under frame points I'm thinking a its suspension ralated but I put back the old stuff in and it sits straight again.but when I took the original Springs out they were all different heights but it would still sit level so I'm not sure. I'm just going to move on with the 70

Nice, it's always great to start with a good foundation. I've been doing a Rhodes roll cage in my car too, almost done.

Yeah I had then send me a new halo and pillar bars the first ones they sent did not work in my 73 I'm either going to cut it out and put it in the 70 or just do a 8 point cage for now not sure yet

If you are going to go real fast an 8 point just is not enough for me,where as a halo would be a little to much for me because your vision is limited.I have a 12 right now but am considering adding 3 more bars before I get to race it.
