The 73 Journey begins

    My 1st project has begun. 1973 302, sad to say that when I look at the car I just think of how long its going to take. It was a present from an uncle and well hopefully I make it work. I don't think my experience with cars is high enough to take this task but thats why I came here to hopefully get tips and help from you guys. It was originally automatic but uncle switch trans with 88 5 speed mustang trans ( I believe so) but car hasn't been turn on because it was unfinished , and front brakes were switch to disk. Car has lots of rust on the floor. Other than that these are some pictures.

    that car will need alot of work. but it can be done.

    looks like a good project. do you have any pics of the clutch pedal set up. i would like to see how the cable attaches to the clutch pedal.

    Welcome from northeastern Illinois. Ur right u have ur work cut out. Gud luck with it.
    There is a guy on the forum who's suppose to start making sheet metal replacements soon, for our cars. I think he's doing floor pans.
