I am consolidating all of the order information about the embroidered Maverick shirts here:

I am having polo/golf shirts with the "Maverick" logo on the left chest made, very much like the shirt in the picture below. The shirts are $21.50 each (2X add $2.00 and for 3X add $3.00); see below for shipping cost, etc:

ORDERING INSTRUCTIONS:

I am now actually collecting money so we can get this stuff made. I have been kind of dreading this part because it will require so much cooperation from everyone to have this happen in a timely fashion . It would probably be a lot easier for me to just place the entire order and once I get the jackets and shirts in hand I could send them out to people as they get the money to me. The problem is that right now I am not able to put up all the money to get the order rolling, so I have to have everyone send me the money first so I can place the order. The risk here of course is that I get almost everyone's cash and then a few people procrastinate or decide to back out at the last minute...delaying everything and upsetting everyone.

Other sizes are on back order until mid-February..so you can get them if you are willing to wait a bit, although depending on how fast people get me the money for the order that might be around the time the order gets placed anyway (it's only a couple weeks away...

If you'd like to pay with Paypal, you can...but I have to ask that you add an extra $1.40 for the first shirt and $1.10 for each additional ordered to cover the fees. I know, it sucks...Paypal is a great way to pay, but it ain't free to accept the $$$.

Shipping within the USA: Up to 2 shirts: $6.00 for Priority Mail/ $2.00 for each additional shirt

Shipping to Canada: Up to 2 shirts: $9.00 First Class Mail/$2.00 for each additional shirt

I expect it will take a couple weeks at least to get everyone's money in, get the order in to the embroiderers, get the stuff shipped to me and then ship it out to everyone. I will do my best to keep everyone informed at to what is going on. Thanks!

 

Why is there an extra charge for pay pal. i would have thought it would be easier to use pay pal.

 

If you have to upgrade your paypal account to a premiere account in order to take credit card funded transfers (which you pretty much HAVE to do if you sell on ebay, thanks to their new rules adopted since they bought paypal), they charge you for EVERY payment that you receive, not just credit card payments.

 

Yes, what Matt says is true. Paypal makes things very easy to do, but they want their cut. I am only offering to accept it because I was asked to...I can totally understand if people don't want to pay the extra fees and want to send a check or money order instead...but since all the orders are funnelling through me, I would get stuck paying the fees out of my own pocket for anyone who decided to pay with Paypal. From my point of view that would suck.

 

Sent my payment via Paypal yesterday, Paypal says it's still unclaimed.

I don't do a lot of drag racing myself and I've never been to Milan, but my dad has a race car ('80 Malibu); we usually go to Lapeer because it is so close, but his car club likes to go to Ubly. I hear they are closed for good now...I hope not!

 

Deadline For Maverick Shirt Order: Friday, February 8, 2008

Okay, I have now received, or am about to receive most of the money for the shirts that people have ordered. There are one or two I am still waiting to hear from...but I now have enough paid orders in hand to place the order. Thanks to everyone who has gotten payments to me so quickly. That is a big hurdle almost passed. Hopefully the rest of the process goes as smoothly.

I estimate once I pay the embroidery company and get the order started it will probably be about a week for them to get the stuff made and ship it to me...and another week for me to get everything boxed up, labelled and shipped out. I'm not promising any exact dates...just making an estimate. At any rate it shouldn't be too much longer....

 

Just PayPal'ed ya. Shirt, shipping and paypals cut...LOL

My address is on the paypal account. If the shirts are running a little small, then please make it an XL. If they are not the kind that shrink much then a large is fine.
