I might make it a spectator. I hope this class works and becomes permanent. I plan to build my drag car for this class. I like it. Thanks, SD.:thumbs2:

It would be great to see you there!!! I'm hoping you get everything together in time to run the class.

    Hawco,
We're trying to get a good showing at Bristol so we can have another shot at the Ennis, TX race in September. With good car counts at both events we could very well see this as a permanent Showdown class next year.

    Simon,
Better get that 351 into the car quick, Bub. ;)

Actually, I already doubled my estimate. I planned for it to be ready this September and have already spent some on it.

I done been down this here road before...more than once. In fact, every time I start a car project, or a home project, I go down that :badwords::rant2:before.

Im surprised it's not limited to a fox or sn95 platform.

No, it is not a requirement. It is the only power adder that is legal for the class. N/A cars are welcome also. I would appreciate the support so come on out!!!

You're welcome! I did not want to limit the car count to just fox/sn95/s197 cars. By opening the class up to all Ford body styles we get to include everyone!!! I firmly believe this has been the problem in the past and I wanted a shot at correcting this line of thinking. I'd like to see Mavericks and Comets, Fairlanes, Torinos, Mustangs, Fairmonts, Galaxy, Capris, Montegos, Thunderbirds, even Pintos in this class.
