    did some tuning today and went up the road for a test run. turned around, stopped in the road about 1/2 mile from the house. did about 30 ft. burn and caught 2nd. Boom!!! no power to the wheels...i coasted all the way to the house, up the driveway and to the shop. i was impressed that i got enough hook to shoot that sucker all the way home... :yup:
    this is the 2nd. time i have broke the rear yoke...(2 runs in a row). same place and got all the way to the shop both times...(y)
    no more alum. driveshafts for me...i know it is just me because i don't know anyone that has broken one in the street.

    ...prob. will say that my...AOD, 3000 stall, manual shift v-body, 3:55, posi. trac, and cal tracs...were more than it could handle. :rofl2:
