Hey guys, I'm going back to work again this summer to earn some more cash for my car, but I've got ~$700 and I was thinking about adding some stripes. My Maverick is black, and I know white goes well, but I really want something new, original, and something that REALLY stands out. I'm defiantly set on red stripes, but may still change my mind.
Anyway, I was thinking about what kind of stripes to do on my baby. Some rally stripes, (two decent sized stripes with narrow side trim) or just one large one that would be the two combined, still with the trim decor.
I'm not sure which would match the Maverick more, and I was also considering some flashy side additions across the car, but I don't know what would suit the Maverick. Suggestions are welcome, in fact, encouraged!

when we did my car, I had to chose between to different colors.
    1) 2 shades of purple's
    2) 2 shades of teal

or course I went with the purples (and became PINKY) :D

I really think 2 shades of metallic teal would look sweet on a black car.

What color is the interior? If its anything but black, I'd do stripes in the same color to match. If it is black, Then I would go with gold, silver, or a real light tan.

Don't know if this helps but I've got some side stripe drawings posted in the gallery that might help you get some ideas. If it doesn't show up as images under my name then click my name and I think it takes you to my info. Click on images and they will come up!

i like red dual stripes. ive seen some chevelles black with red stripes and they look really mean. kinda of a black widow thing. the black with white stripes always makes me think of a skunk. im also a fan of black with sliver stripes.

I say leave it all black and either do away with or move the grill emblem. (y)

But if you were to go with a stripe, I would put on a later style grabber stripe on the hood (without the grabber name in it) and some side stripes.
