I am thinking of tinting my windows myself, but have NO experience at it. From reading the instructions on the tint film, it seems doable. Is it worth having a professional do it, or can a novice like struggle through it? Thanks!
I see you in Arizona. I would guess there are quite a few window tint shops in your area. I would get a couple of quotes and ask what tint product they use. Then check what it would cost you to buy quality materials and decide from there. Some times it is just worth having a professional do it.
OR, try to talk to someone at a local car dealership. The ones around here have an independent contractor that does their tinting. They gave me her number, she said she would come to my house and tint 5 windows on the Focus (this was in 01') for 1 bill.....if I had someone else that wanted the same thing, she would do both at one location for $65 each.....well worth the $$$ for a pro job and a warrantee!
