My other thread about my car at paint was
    ":ttiwwp:"
So because there were no pictures on that other thread, and I figured any interest in looking at that thread would be over, I decided to put some pictures on here....

I created a Photobucket, so I hope it works for you guys....
Please post on here if the site doesn't work.. and I will try to get it to work for you.

Isn't it kinda scary seeing your car all sanded down and welded on...Mine is partly that way, and it freaks me out...maybe I will mess something up that CANNOT be fixed, or maybe the fenders won't look straight after paint is applied...

    oooooohhhhhmmmmmm :chillpill :chillpill

    It's OK, I am better now... :D

It will look GREAT when it is finished (y)

Not half bad!! I can see why you're frustrated, it doesn't seem like much has been done in the short while it's been there. I'm with Scooper, it would make my heart skip a beat to see those welds like that because I'd be so sure they could never fix it and that it looks worse than the original rust!! *lol* Did they give you a for-sure time estimate or is it all still "it'll be done when it's done"?

Is that a Comet front bumper piece, or do the Mavs come out like that too? Just curious because it looks like the front bit on my Comet... :)

Irish has a mix of comet and maverick parts. Honestly, it intrigues me...I am not all that fond of comets, but his looks really nice! (Sorry to offend any comet owners...I just never got a grip on that bump on the front!)

No worries mate, my Comet is now a Mav up front (hood and grill) sporting a Comet 73 bumper. Surprisingly I like it just the way it is; the front bumper works really well with the Mav stuff, and I don't even mind how far it sticks out. :)

So Frankencomets do happen. (Although to be honest I've seen a few already here on the boards) :D
