Over one month ago I listed some items on the board. With no responses I subsequently listed them on ebay. After listing them on ebay I had two different board members indicate they wanted some of the parts. Well, here it is almost 6 weeks later and neither one has followed through. Because I listed the items on the board first, I felt I needed to honor that advertisement. Auctions take time to write and of course cost a few bucks to list. It would have been far easier if they had indicated early on that they didn't want the items. PLEASE, when buying items on the board either follow through or let the seller know you have changed your mind! I'm not angry with either member, but I felt this needed to be said! Happy New Year!

If you listed it on the board and had no response - and then listed it on ebay - my opinion is that the ebay auction is now the priority sales location for you and you are under no obligation to cancel that auction for somebody on the board that now expresses an interest in the item. If they want it, they should now bid for it on ebay.

    just my :2cents:

    *************

I have to add, I just went back and read the thread in the for sale section, and the person you were dealing with told you to cancel the auctions, that they will buy the parts from you. Absolutely no class on their part for making you do this and not following through with the purchase. I hope you leave them feedback !

I have listed items on the board .... if not sold they go to eBay ... I have had folks email after the fact ... and I directed them to eBay ... no big deal ...

Well I am all for having strait honest deals on this site. There will be tire kickers, never going to get around that. However, the Forum is not to be used to dispute any transaction. That is what your local authorities are for. The Forsale forums are use at your own risk. Again, I sypmathise but you know that going into it if you read the rules. We also have a feedback section. If they earn a bad feedback, leave it. You are not being mean you are being honest. You are also saving other members the hassle of a future mishap. Keep on mavericking.
