as some know Effie got her a new Ford Ranger, same color as mine but a 4 dr.
I took it to my sticker Guy and had it striped and all the accessories as mine.
Hers' came with black rims that she liked so I ordered a set of black stock Ford tires and rims to match hers'.
I have spent the last three days cleaning them up.
they are gloss black powdercoated with a lot of hazing, nothing scratched.
called my powder coating Guy and was told you can't buff and polish powdercoated rims...
Googled "cleaning tires" and was told in bold letters "DO NOT USE WD 40 ") on tires...
    wrong answers...
So I got out my closeup Gel toothpaste , WD 40 ( no water) and went to work...:yup:
Still need to wash them in hot soapy water and put on some tire dressing before mounting. two done and two to go.
I also use the toothpaste on all my plastic lens.
I put this here because of the detailing of the tires and rims .
