I got a set of 14" kregors off a friend of mine, the front rims are 5.5" wide and the rear rims are 8.5" wide...Im going for the nose-in-the-weeds look...whats the smallest I can put on the front and the largest I can put on the rear wheels without it looking....how can I put this nicely.....stupid?

Id prefer to fill up the rear wheel wells, I'll shackle the rear end or flip the rear axle if needed to raise the car.

I talked to a friend of mine and he said a set of F70-14(195R14) for the front and G60-14(245/60R14) for the rear, good suggestion or not?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

no help from me, I have never dealt with 14" wheel/tires.
I would still carry a spare IMO, it will atleast get you somewhere. :)

Run a cheap 215/ 70 on the front & Mickey Thompson Indy Profile L60s on the back. It'll be killer!!! :)

    Another tire size calculator

    http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html

This site will give you a visual pic as well. It might come in useful to visualize the bigger tire profile. I always get thrown when it comes into figuring the rim offset into the scheme of things though.
