    Alright Gents & Ladies,

I need some help? I have 1970 Mach 1 mustang rims on my 1977 mav. I am tring to beef up the back end... Need some advice on what size tires to get or should I maybe put on airshocks to raise rear... I was told not go any larger then 235/60R 14" on the rear and 185/75R 14" on the front.

    Does this sound ok?

Basicly i need to get the idea of a raised rear appearance???
I'm not looking forward to putting on air shocks....

    Thanks for anyones input...

It depends on the width of the rim. I'm running 245/60's on a 6" rim and there is a ballooning effect because of the narrow rim. I just run about 5 psi less and it works ok. If your rims are 7" you could run 245's with no problems or probably 255's with the same ballooning problem.
