I had this problem ever since I got the car. Well, I'm assuming it's a problem. I can't really go into turns without the tires screetching. I'm not talking about cornering, even a wide turn on the freeway on/offramp. Now with the heavier V8 in there after the upgrde I fee like I have to go into turns even slower. Any suggestions what to do?

If the car is running on the 6 cylender springs.Get the front end re-aligned.Sounds like too much camber in the turns due to the extra weight.

I agree, sounds like it needs an alignment. After I totally rebuilt the front suspension on my car, I just eyeballed the alignment best I could just so I could drive it to a shop to have it done right. On the way to the shop, the tire were chirping every time I went around a corner. Everything is great after the professional alignment was done.

Here in San Diego there is only one shop I found so far that will work on my car for alignment. The other ones say their laser machines don't go beyond 82. But I'll track that place down and get that done. Maybe they're open tomorrow.

Its a sad day when a mechanic cant do an alignment on the simplest of cars.Let alone has high tech equipement that cant do the job...just sad...I wish you luck my freind.

OK another Q, how can I make this car corner better after the alignment? It obviosly will never turn like an M3 but it would be nice to not feel like my inside tires are lifting off in a tight turn.

I find that to be total bs on the mechanics part. Them alignment machines can be programmed. I have done alignments on alot of different machines and all of them I could put in a generic page of the specs I wanted. It's a matter of knowing what the spec is and how to use your equipment.

You need to have the suspension you want before the alignment.
As for the cornering, the sway bar is what helps in cornering and lean control.
    What's inside tires?

Is that the one where he did a wheelie for a quarter mile, on a (I think) stock motor?

inside tires as in the tires that almost lift up when you go into a turn really fast. I already have sway bars for front and back somewhere in the storage. I am gonna install those, probably before the alignment right?
