I haven't done a very good job keeping up with this topic, just didn't look inside to see what was going on, my fault:( . Anyways I will be reading alot of older posts to see who has joined our world. I want to ask all new members to consider the Maverick Comet Club International . Strength in numbers. We have a great club with great people and a great bi-monthly newsletter put out by none other than Mavaholic. There are state reps in alot of states but if yours doesn't have one and you are interested ask and you may be the new leader in your mav/com community. There are Mini-meets everywhere and it is hard for your state rep to keep up with all new members in thier state so contact your state rep to see if something is going on in your area. We also have the annual Round-up, which is this weekend, kind of our nationals, nothing but a good time for all involved. Anyways, I just wanted to,as a club member, to invite you to check out the club (y). There is also another board run by another member(which correct if I'm wrong, this EXCELLENT board is also run by a member, Stephan) fordmaverick.com with a good chatroom where you will find some of us hanging around from time to time, stop by and say hi. Thanks for reading, Ward

Ward, I really ought to join pretty soon as I've been on this board a long while and have now taken part in a couple of club activities. Can I paypal my membership fee to someone by chance?

Just wanted to bump this up. If you have any doubt about the club or what we do when we get together go to the General topic forum and look at all the posts and pics of cars from people that were at the Round Up(2004 nats). The Round Up is just one of the reasons to join, like I've stated before strength in numbers, we had 42 cars this year and 35 last year. We are on the move and getting stronger with every new member. I invite you to check it out.

All I can say to what my esteemed colleague from the great state of Kentucky, Ward, has said is...absolutely!!! There are many great things to come in the future and with the enthusiasm I saw at the Roundup, you need to be a part of this. :bananaman

There are more meets across this great land of our's than ever before. The Roundup had a record attendance. You had to be there to fully appreciate the sight of 42 Mavs/Comets together and how everyone just jelled. Brent said it best on how we try to come together unlike other clubs when one needs help. If anyone didn't feel a part of the weekend, then it was nobody's fault but their own.

C'mon new guys!! Join up today!!(y)
