TO big of speakers

    i instaled a new complet soney xplode system in my maverick including 2 12" 1200 watt subs with a 2,000 watt amp pushing them but the base was distorted by trunk raddle so i added extra foam on the seal the the tach welds broke so i had lined it with JB Weld now it viberating the rear speaker deack any advice

    My advice is hear the car more and the stereo less.

    BIG bass will rattle everything in the car. The key is to stop all the rattles. This would include all the body panels....as they will rattle and vibrate as well. Dynamat....and putting it everywhere....is your friend.

    MAn these cars rattle just rolling down the road. Cant imagine with subs like that. These cars werent built for that kind of vibration. You have a lot of work ahead of you.
    You may be the first guy to destroy a Mav via audio. :)
