Took a week off from work to get some work done on the car before cold weather hits, I'm ready to go back to work to get some rest! :whew:
I patched both sides of the front floor pans and the cowl. I sand blasted the cowl, cut out the bad metal and patched, used POR 15 products to clean and treat the metal and coated with POR 15. It should outlast the rest of the car.

Looks great. Not trying to hijack your thread but could someone tell me why the AC cars have no drivers vent?

I Found A Product At My Auto Paint Store Last Week That Is A Competitor Of Por-15 And It States That It Is As Good If Not Better Than Por-15,it's Easy To Get And Long Lasting,i'll Get Some Info This Week And Post It For Everyone,it Comes In Pints, quarts And Gallons And It's Cheaper Than Por-15...

Great job!!! All that work & its all unseen in the finished project.

I think its because there's no room to run the vent and the duct work for the ac on the drivers side. I guess they figured you can just run air out the center vent.

Thanks for all the kind words guys, it means a lot coming from all of you. :)

It's probably going to be a while before much more progress is made, I'm working on the car outside under the carport. I don't like working in cold weather.... Although you Northern guys would probably think Arkansas winters would be comfortable. :yup:
