took my first steps in finishing my 72 grabber

    i hated doing it but i did buy hood pins for the mav and they work alot better my hood doesnt move anymore when i go 65+ i ordered a set of msd wires that will go with the mallory hei distributor i also ordered everything will be here on tuesday. today i went to get my windows tinted but the mannager never showed so i am going back up there tomorrow. i am getting 5% limo tint. next i am buying leafsprings and airshocks which will be in a month. i only get paid 7.5 so i have to save.

    do a search on air shocks and you will see why that is a bad idea.

    In this picture you can see between the exhaust and the fuel vent line where the crossmember the shocks mount to broke in half.

    This picture show how ugly the bottom of the trunk pan is where the cross member should be. If you look closely you can see the screws a revious owner use to "fix" the problem.

    And here we have evidence of what caused the damage. Don't do the air shock unless you want to fix a mess like this down the road!!!!
