I've gathered almost everything that I need to swap out the C4 and install a 4 speed toploader in my little 250 I6 powered Maverick. I'm not sure about the block plate however (the plate between the block and the flywheel). Is this plate the same on both the automatic and standard shift cars, or will I need to start looking for a block plate off a manual shift car? Thanks.
The manual shift block plate is a one piece, the automatic is a two piece. Mustangs Unlimited used to sell both new, might cehck em out to see if they still do.
