toploader?

    I was wondering what gear lube do you run in your toploader.

    Also i have the stock distributor on my 302 and on the advance theres a #4 and it points to one of the spark plugwire terminals. When i flip the cap over there is a 4 on the terminal that the other 4 points to. Now does this mean that goes to cylinder 4 or is it just a coincidence that theres 2 fours.? I am asking this because there is no number one on the distributor cap.

    I use 90 w gear oil with a pint of Hilton's Hyper-lube added.
    Cap with #4 on it...
    It sounds like a coincidence to me, I have never seen any cylinder other than #1 marked on a cap.... Doesn't mean it is a coincidence - just that I have never seen it before.

    I run synthetic gear lube in my toploader and rearend. Dunno bout the #4 stuff.

    thanks guys, i guess the #4 was just a coincidence because i went online and found were 1 was on my distributor cap
