I think a 6 cyl. is better for handling and really the ford 6 is no were near what that motor is I bet it will blister the tires

you couldnt pay me to drive it... little jap engine in an american car... reminds me of "2 fast to furious" i hated the part when they stuck that jap motor in the mustang

btw what is this??? im having an off day... but this is the only one i would drive... fat tires and not so ricy looking

    IMO

Two 1973 LDO Mavericks (one 4 Drag one 4 driving like Mad on the roads :) ) also have a 75 6cyl Stock! Ok, well sort of Stock :P
i hate to say it but that 2jz "little jap" motor will walk more then 2/3rds of the mavericks on this forums. and the term rice shouldn't is not even to be used in that build. rice is something like neon lights or huge wings on cars trunks of cars that have no use what so ever. that stock 2jz motor can hold more hp nthen any stock block 302.

oh and btw F&F when they put that "little jap" motor in that mustang.... er.... that was part of the story... it's like where would you find a small block 302 in japan just laying around? to stick in your mustang which is already rare enough? as much as it was a movie... it is still common sence would also have to has some reality come into play. at least f&f 3 had the more correct reserach done then any of the others.

whatever happened to the car enthusiast who appreciates everything? oh wait I still hate mustangs. lol!

Still a bad idea.... I mean a jet turbine would walk most mavericks too but i dont think i want one of those either. Ruined a nice maverick in my opinion.

i like the custom gauges, anyone else into that? i wonder what they did for the suspension because the towers are shaved off.

getting off subject a little bit... you dont think he had a 289 sitting around???

i just dont like the chin spoiler and that spoiler on the trunk

but my point is, is that if your going to buy american... keep it american because IMO thats what made these cars great

That car is Awesome!, And Spectre is an Inland Empire company so they make me proud. And who cares if its not a Ford enginge. I dont know about you guys but im tired of seing 5.0s in fords, my next mav/comet will not be windsor powered.

you dont have to put a 5.0 in a mav... if you work hard enough you can put a 428, 390, 502, 352?, you may not have shock towers or fenders though:rofl:

This mav will have a 5.0 because of funds. Next one will probaly have a SHO 6 or a two valve mod. Ive been looking at what car/truck suspensions might graft onto these cars and i found one....but i wont say which car because its not domestic lol

I would just put a Ford valve cover on it and keep everyone guessing.
