Will the trany crossmember off of a mustang fit on a maverick? and will i need to change to a v8 crossmember for long tube headers?

Maverick is Maverick. Mustang won't fit.

I've never used the six cylinder tranny member. But the one in my v8 Grabber has very little room left. So I would think the v8 one is a little better to use for clearance. Someone else will chime in if I'm wrong.:)

The V8 crossmember isn't a necessity, I ran the 6 cylinder piece for about 37 years with a V8 and long tubes but it means the exhaust pipe on the driver's side has to dip underneath. The V8 crossmember allows the pipes to mount higher make a nice straight shot to the rear.
