on my 69 mav i am in the middle of swaping in my 302, will i have trouble with the 302 belhousing fitting in the transmission tunnel because of it being narrower then the rest of the years

Seth; if you use the C4, the bell and trans will fit ok. If you use an AOD or a T5, you will have to trim the tunnel supports above the front of the trans, and modify or use a different crossmember. The trans tunnel is narrower on the 69.5, and the crossmember is a challenge. Everything else is the same. Good luck!

Yep, like Earl said, C4 will fit fine. If you use the double hump transmission crossmember, you'll have to drill a new hole on one side to bolt it up.

and it would be the drivers side because the passenger side is already higher for the exhaust

Seth; I have a block plate if you need it. Just pay the shipping (about $20???) and I will send it to you. Send me a pm if you are interested, and we can get it done there. Let me know!!!!!
