Looking through the instructions for the kit, on page 5 there are 2 spring options for step number 2 with a type "B" valve body. Does anyone know how the different springs will make the transmission act?

I would call transgo or a shop that uses their products and get their opinions about it. If I had to guess though.. in general.. when it comes to valve bodies the stiffer springs cause delays or pressure rise to make things more aggressive. But that's just a SWAG.

I've used many of their products through the years and my C4 still has one of their kits in it. I loved it so much that I plan on just cleaning and refreshing the valvle body with gasket change only. Sorry I couldn't help with a more definitive answer for ya.
