    Hello to all,
I've got a 71 Maverick 200 CU IN engine that I need a three speed column shift transmission for. Could someone please let me knowh what type transmission this is? The transmssion it had behind it was a fordomatic 2 speed that was not original. Oh and I've got this engine in a 64 Ranchero that WAS originally column shifted. Thanks for any and all help.

Are you looking for what tranmission was stock in the 71 Mav or the 64 Ranchero? If it is the Mav it was a C-4 3 speed. If it is the Ranchero it could have been either the Ford-O-Matic 2 or 3 speed. If you are looking for a suitable replacement then get a C-4 with the proper bell housing for the 200.
