Was watching "Riding with Rossi" last night. He was in L.A. looking for classic cars & muscle cars. He was at the Friday night cruise, in Burbank, at "Bob's BigBoy". They had a lot of cars there. Didn't see any Mavericks or Comets. Has anyone been to "Memory Lane Auto Wrecking"? Wondered if they have any Mavericks or Comets. When he went to the dragstrip, there was a primer gray 71 or 72 Comet, looked like a 70's Camaro spoiler on the rear. A lady was driving it. Showed it 4 or 5 times, getting the front end in the air. Is that person on this board? Would like info on the car.
Yesterday's episode had him in a cool green 68 Cougar. When they finally made it to the dragstrip they showed a quick shot of a pro-street early 70's Comet with a primered body zipping down the track. It looked pretty frick'in mean.
That's the episode I was talking about...I can't remember the ladie's name that owns it. They interviewed her...
