so you didnt have to deal with raising the tunnel or anything?
    what about the tranny mount?

I have a T5 in mine, too. My '70 has a small tunnel so I had to open up the top of the tunnel a little and add metal to make a taller hump for the shift rod tunnel to clear. Don't even notice with the carpet in place. The shift tower sticks up through the floor so I used a big Hurst Super Boot to cover it. As far as the trans crossmember, I'm using an adaptor plate to mate the trans to my old bellhousing and the trans mount ended up 1 1/2" rearward of the stock position. Just cut out the center, dropped portion of your stock crossmember, move it back 1 1/2" and weld back together. Not sure how close all this relates to a Tremec.

Lonnie, you mean that T5 holds up on your blown motor?
