I'm looking at upgrading the heads on my Maverick to some tf 192 high ports. Will I still be able to use my 1⅝ hooker headers? I know they are small for thses heads up I'm more concerned about clearence if they is any problems. I'm pretty new to all this. Thanks in advance. Any input will be appreciated.

"Notes:Exhaust port is raised 0.750 in. over stock location, must use headers designed for this cylinder head. Valve cover rail is raised 0.400 in. over stock."

may I ask why these heads on a 306?
    I ran..
AFR 165- Non Emission- pn #1399
    on my 306/347...

I agree with 71gold. Unless you are building a race car, those heads are too large and the raised ports will give you fitment fits. I'm running AFR 165s on my 306. You would be better off with AFR 165s or TF 170s. I'm assuming you have stock flat top pistons.

This is a race car and I ran across a set for a really good price and thought they might be a good investment as my build continues to grow

You will not have any choice about changing headers, with out shock tower mods or getting rid of them completely & going to something like Mcpherson struts, those hds will be a real PIAs.
