I pulled off my trim pieces around the window weatherstriping and doors the other day b/c they were either missing all together or dinged up pretty bad. Do anyone know where I can buy replacement trim pieces? I'm having my body painted a gloss black so I'm really trying to put the chrome body trim pieces back.

    Maverickkid-
From what I have seen, all the stuff around the front and side windows
is stainless steel. My rear window trim is aluminum. It is possible that
some of the side window trim is aluminum.

None of it is reproduced. You will have to repair/polish/buff yours or get
some off of a donor car in a junkyard.
The clips that hold this stuff on is reproduced.

    Good luck.

Well the pieces were bad enough that if I can't find anything good off another Mav or anyone who knows where to get them then I'll just have to do some modifying on my own.

FWIW, I did a Fairmont, painted it black, and was disappointed until I painted the "chrome" trim pieces, especially around the windows and lights, semi-gloss black. "...and that has made all the difference."

This is not mine, as I have a maroon stripe, and black wheels, but here is what black on black loks like.
