I have found plenty of seals and gaskets but where do I look (other than a JY) for trim like around rear glass, windshield ect? for my 71 Mav. I did find Head light bezels in a JY for a stagering 125.00 isn't there any AM suppliers? Thanks

As far as I know no one makes the trim. You need to find uses ones. I do have the trim and headlight bezel you need. Email me if you want it.

No, but they have the correct seals and gaskets, instead of using stuff from the junkyard.

Nobody makes chrome trim for a Maverick/Comet. Got to go with used or NOS. Used ones can be sent out and plated and/or polished...or you could do it yourself.

I was told after removing the anodizing, it could be sprayed with clear coat to keep it shinny. Any thoughts on that?

I suppose you could do that. I have never done that. I sent all my stuff out and had it polished. I am not sure if they sprayed it with clear or not. I "think" they did not.

No, I didn't buy the trim B&m has it, they do show a pic with the trim still on the donor and it looks good with no dents but it's still too much. The stuff I have is full of dings, I could fill and paint if I have to.

Lots of guys here sell used parts, just post in the wanted section, and I'm sure someone will have what you want.
The windshield trim is stainless, and can be repaired, just depends on what you want to spend, the back window trim is just easier to find replacements.
