trimmed Wheel wells

    Hello, I realy like the look of the maverick with the wheel wells trimmed, has anyone done this them self (how did you go about it) or have it done at body shop (What was the cost)? thanks Jim

    Two 1973 LDO Mavericks (one 4 Drag one 4 driving like Mad on the roads :) ) also have a 75 6cyl Stock! Ok, well sort of Stock :P
    never seen that mav in my life:rolleyes: :D

    There's alot more to that than just cutting them out. Besides running an edge, you have to reattach the inner wheel well housing which will have quite a gap up that high. Good luck finding a body shop that will take on a project like that. Most are into collision work only these days.

    ditto that! they make more on insurance claims then one car tying up sone bay or stall for weeks on end!

    How do you cut fender wells, how long did it take, how hard was it to do?

    I dont know. I took the car to the body shop and showed them pictures of the Tammy's car. I think they did a pretty decent job.
