    The rust nightmare has begun...
Does anyone know if there are replacement floor panels for the trunk of a 75 maverick available? Need to replace the whole trunk floor.

I dont think they are avaliable, but I might be wrong. when I had mine redone, my body guy made new panels from sheetmetal.

You could find a donor from further south. In OKLA, we don't really have problems with trunk rust - just the normal quarter panels and lower front fenders.

My Comet has the same problem, so I bought a Maverick to build instead. The Comet will eventuall get a 2x3 rear frame, 4 link, narrored 9" and aluminum tubs and floor with a fuel cell.........when I hit the lottery!

haven't gotten around to taking any recent photos but i will here are some from when I first got the car in 95 it was sliver blue glow orginally but someone plated the bottom half of the doors cause of rust:) Had them replaced and repainted the car a dark blue drove it for a year then I let it sit forever now I am starting on restoring it.
you have to excuse the quality of this photo I just scanned an old photo.

okay took some photos. frame and floor panels still need to be stitched up and found more rust under the rear seat. My boyfriend is putting the welder to good use.
hope the photos are good enough to see what has been done had to decrease their size:)

came home from work. good news and bad news. Panel for under the rear seat made. inner front fenders gone. He did fix the one where the battery goes. Think I have to stay at work longer.;)

does anyone know where you can buy original style material for the seats and door panels. I feel like sewing.
