I would've asked the Mustang guys but I already knew what they would say. You guys I trust to be honest with me, so should I do it?

the extra's are the 3:73 gearing, white racing stripe, 19 inch wheels and tires with the comfort package (heated seats).

Ford will do 1.9% at 72 months or zero% for 60

    All input welcomed.
    Thanks for your time.

    Terry

I would do the 0% for 60 if I could stroke the payment.

Looks nice. If I had your money I'd be buying it too Terry. What HP does this one have? Question is...Can you keep it stock?:)

Not sure I can do the 60 months but that is what I'm hoping for. The price has to come down about 1,000.00 more for me to look at that. We are still talking.

Don, this one is rated at the 413 HP, I've heard less but in most cases I've heard they are closer to 425.

Can I keep it stock... well you know me, right!

NO WAY will this car stay stock! I'd say the day after I get one I'll be ordering the mod parts, CAI and exhaust will be the first order and once I change out the grill then I'll put on the Shelby blower on.

I'm just an old kid, my toys just cost more. Good thing I have a MUCH younger wife to support me:dance:

I had one of those things, and I loved it. Mine were a 6cyl, but very reliable and fun to drive. If you can swing it, do it!

    I own a 2011 5.0

My advice is get a 2012 if that isn't one. Mine and tons of other 2011's with the 6 speed manuals ( mt82's ) have been having tons of issues with them. The 2012's have all the tsb's done to them already and are suppose to have the revised clutch assembly as well.

I think around 412 flywheel is pretty accurate. Mine dyno'd in at around 370rwhp and with a canned tune and a steeda cold air intake I made just at 400rwhp. With that mod I ran 12.12 @ 114 granny shifting a notchy tranny on mt et streets.
Also have another friend with a jlt cai and an offroad x who runs 11.7's on some bi and ply drags consistently..........
He has since then installed the boss intake manifold but hasn't gotten new times yet...

So basically for about a grand into the car you can have a mid 11 second daily driver....

    SO HELL YEAH GET IT

Would be a nice little street class car for the track. Stick or automatic? recently ran a guy in one of these with a stick. He dialed 12.72 to my 12.18. I was ahead of him at the 60 ' mark. I let off at 1000'. Then I saw him coming. He flew past me at 127 mph. Just had no traction with the stick. But a lot of top end. :D

Oh how bad I would want that exact car .. however .... I'm 18 months from paying off the Focus... Debt elimination is our plan, just 2 car payments and a house payment and a personal loan to go totally debt free in about 8 years counting the house .. God willing,, I would get it one of those IF I could pay cash... but watch those long term loans value is hard to catch up on if they are over 36 to 48 months. It looks enticing but man our economy is headed the wrong way.. thats all I'm saying.. Good luck either way....

ok guys I just realized it looks like I tried to hijack a thread I'm sorry if it came off that way, I just wanted to offer another viewpoint to taking on debt. if anyone is offended please accept my apology in advance, ive been on this site for years. regretably I sold my Comet 2 years back. Anyhow I just know the great the feeling it is to get debts paid off and wanted to share another viewpoint.. this from a Life long Ford fanatic and Mustang Fan.. Its a struggle all the time for me to not pull the trigger ( interesting analogy by the way) myself.. anyway no offense to anyone I hope..

I took the dave ramsey class a couple months ago. Amazing stuff. My fiance has a nissan versa (horrible crappy car) and has $12,000 left to pay it off...ill be marrying into debt which im not happy about at all cause im debt free right now. What really makes me mad is that she wont let me buy another car unless its a 2005 or newer cause of better safety and whatnot. I'm like "heck no!!" im not going to go into debt or in this case even more debt. Ill stick with my ranger and maverick for now, but shes persistent...But as man of this relationship, i cant give in. I straight up refuse to go into debt after we pay off her car (only house debt). Only way ill buy a brand new car or a car thats used but still newer is with cash straight up. But with me being 21 and her 23, we dont have a lot of money (not living together, waiting til we are married). Still, she makes me mad that she wont let me get anything older then a 2005. Very stupid.

anyways, with that said, you guys should know my views on this, but thats a heck of a nice mustang. I guess if you have the money though...

I preach the Dave Ramsey gospel too. I don't like being in debt, have tried hard to stay out of it. I have been struck with the 5.0 bug also, but I keep thinking to myself: "if you can't write a check for it, then you can't afford it"
