In my opinion WAY to small of a turbo for a 5.0 engine but Im not sure what engine you have.

I ran the same size turbo on my ford probe v6 engine 2.5 liter but it also spins to 7000 rpm.

If its for a 302/5.0 you should be looking for a similar size to a masterpower t-70 turbo with a single turbo setup. If its for twin turbo a t3/t4 will work but I would go with about a 63 exhaust housing and a 70ish comp housing. Just ballpark info Need to know plans and motor specs to map it out. Search for foxbody kits to get general idea of what your looking at.

Check out turboforums . com for a lot of great turbo information. Alot of it concentrates on foxbodys but still valuable information.

FYI newbies can get destroyed there quick so make sure you search real good before posting. There not that friendly over there sometimes. LOL

Alot more to a turbo car than bolting some stuff on, first learn all the whos, whats, wheres, and why's of a turbo system before turning a wrench.

Corkybell has some good books on turbo charging sytems always a good read.

    Good Luck

And FYI theres isn't anything in that kit that I would consider quality. Looks like a typical "ebay" turbo kit to me with subgrade parts.

And I'm not knocking all ebay kits, some are def better than others. Look for good quality parts and good welds, and a turbo you EXPECT to change within a year. And In my opinion NEVER run "ebay" wastegates or blow off valves. I hate changing engines and refuse to put cheap "control" devices on. But thats just me ;)

The mav is gone but i'm still here!
wouldn't waste my money on a chinese turbo...

and like mentioned before a t3/t4 is too small for a single turbo setup.

Well I wasn't planning to buy it anyway I was looking for some Maverick parts and this kit came up just thought it was kinda interesting. Besides I have a lot more work to do before I even think of turboing my mavy.
