Hello everyone, I got bored last week and started up a new project. The turbo is from a Volvo TB0363, I still need to fab up the charge pipe and waste gate bracket. I realize the turbo is too small and will be spooling like crazy, but I had this one laying around and figured why not. Check out the links, let me know what you think.

Cool, are you going to blow thru the stock carb or are you planning something else. What size is the engine the turbo came off of?

Got bored and looked at a compressor map, that thing is gonna run outta breath by 3.5k don't remember what a 250 revs to but you may want to look for something bigger. Here's the map black=7psi, red=10psi, yellow=12psi.

Yeah I knew it would do that, I have a 2.3 turbo motor out of an Svo I want to swap into it. I am only planning on low boost 6 - 7 psi.

Ive got a t3 off a 84 or 85 300zx and a turbonetics wastgate and intercooler. Turbing my 200 with 250 head is my dream. I just dont know anything about converting a carb to handle boost. Glad to see some one building a turbo6 here. Ill be watching.

Here is an update so far. Still need to install hood scoop or go with cowl hood? Hits 5 lbs pulls strong, I need to tune it and get a camera man. http://youtu.be/XjY95vGOLVI

The mav is gone but i'm still here!
Sounds like a blast! Now I'm regretting doing a V8 swap on the falcon :)

I don't think the head flows enough to max the turbo out, seems like a perfect fit.

My 200 never pulled that hard! or even close to it!

Did you cut the exhaust manifold in the picture?

Eastern Raider, I did not cut the cast manifold just created a beveled edge so I could get a good bead in it. The carb is a hybrid carter yfa/yf, the base and center section are from a feedback carb. The top or air horn is from an older yf I had from a jeep. Also the float on the carb is from the yfa since it is a solid float not the hollow brass one found on the older yf.

Next on my list is to install a water methanol injection kit to see what it will do.

Just an update on this, it hits 9 lbs of boost however I believe I need to install a boost retard ignition system on it to keep boosting or upgrade the distributor. Either way it rides incredibly smooth with good power, it is very loud and attracts a lot of attention. Sadly I have decided to sell it, I need to free up some cash for another project. If anyone is interested in doing this to their inline 6 please feel free to contact me.
